Pomodoro Technique Timer — Stay Focused, Beat Procrastination
Zolkit's Pomodoro Timer implements the classic Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes of deep focus followed by a 5-minute short break, with a longer 15-minute break after every 4 rounds. The round counter dots track your progress visually, the optional auto-advance setting moves you smoothly from work to break without clicking, and a distinct alarm tone marks each phase transition. All durations are configurable — customize work sessions from 10 to 60 minutes and breaks from 3 to 30 minutes to match your personal flow state.
Classic Pomodoro Phases
Work (25 min), Short Break (5 min), and Long Break (15 min) phases follow the original Pomodoro Technique protocol automatically.
Round Tracker
Dot indicators show your current position in the 4-round cycle. Visual progress keeps you motivated through the session.
Auto-Advance Mode
Enable auto-advance and the timer moves from work to break to work seamlessly — no clicking required between phases.
Fully Configurable
Adjust work duration, short break, long break, and the number of rounds before a long break to fit your workflow.
Phase-Distinct Alarms
Different alarm tones for work-end and break-end transitions help you distinguish phases without looking at the screen.
Settings Persist
Your custom durations and preferences are saved locally. The timer is ready with your settings every time you open it.
How to Use the Pomodoro Timer
- 1
The timer defaults to a standard Pomodoro setup: 25-minute work sessions, 5-minute short breaks, and a 15-minute long break after every 4 rounds.
- 2
Click Start to begin. When the work timer ends, an alarm sounds and the Short Break phase loads. Resume or enable Auto-Advance to move between phases automatically.
- 3
After 4 work rounds, the Long Break phase begins. Use the settings panel to adjust any duration or enable auto-advance to keep the flow going hands-free.
