Processing details & limits

Images stay on your device. PNG/WebP preserve alpha except padded areas; JPG uses the background color. Animation and metadata are not preserved. Enlargement uses interpolation, not AI enhancement.

Limits: 200 images, 50 MB per file, 80 MP input; output up to 8192 px per side, 16 MP per image and 256 MB per batch.

Batch resize images for product listings, websites and everyday sharing

Zolkit Bulk Image Resizer is a free online tool for changing the pixel dimensions of multiple JPG, PNG and WebP images. Set a width and height or scale each original by a percentage, preview the result, and export individual files or one ZIP. Decoding, resizing, format conversion and ZIP creation run in your browser; your image files are not uploaded to Zolkit. No account is required.

Process a batch with one set of settings

Apply the same settings to up to 200 images, check progress and inspect each result. A failed image does not stop the rest.

Choose dimensions or a percentage

Enter exact target bounds in pixels, or use 50%, 75% or 200% to scale each image relative to its original dimensions.

Keep, crop or pad the image

All three modes preserve image proportions. Fit keeps the whole image within a box; Crop and Pad produce the exact target canvas size.

Export JPG, PNG or WebP

Keep the source format or convert it. Adjust quality for JPG and WebP; choose PNG when you need a lossless output format.

Start with a practical preset

Use product squares at 1000, 1500, 2000 or 2048 pixels, plus common social, landscape and thumbnail sizes.

Download an organized ZIP

Keep original filename stems, update format extensions and add suffixes to duplicate names so files are not overwritten.

How to resize multiple images online

  1. 1

Choose or drop your JPG, PNG and WebP images. Review thumbnails and original dimensions; add or remove files as needed.

  2. 2

Select a preset or enter a target width and height. For proportional scaling of each original, choose Percentage instead.

  3. 3

Choose Fit, Crop or Pad and review the output preview. Open Export settings to select a format, quality and background when applicable.

  4. 4

Click Resize images. Review successful and failed files, then download an individual image or all completed images as a ZIP. Changing settings requires another resize.

Fit, Crop or Pad: which resize mode should you choose?

For a 2400 × 1600 px landscape image and a 1500 × 1500 px target, the modes produce these different results:

Fit, Crop or Pad: which resize mode should you choose?. For a 2400 × 1600 px landscape image and a 1500 × 1500 px target, the modes produce these different results:
ModeOutput sizeWhat happens to the image
Fit1500 × 1000 pxThe complete image fits within the target bounds. No content is cropped and no background is added. Use it when a maximum width and height are enough.
Crop1500 × 1500 pxThe image fills a square canvas; its left and right edges are cropped from the center. Use it when filling the entire target matters more than keeping the edges.
Pad1500 × 1500 pxThe complete image is centered on a square canvas with background above and below. Use it for consistent product image sizes without cropping the product.

Common image sizes for e-commerce and content

Presets are editable starting points. The 1500 × 1500 product square is useful when a store or workflow asks for that size. Product presets use Pad with a white background; they do not remove an existing background or certify that an image meets every marketplace requirement.

Image Compressor

Reduce file size in KB or MB when your pixel dimensions are already right. Resizing changes dimensions; it does not guarantee a smaller file.

AI Image Upscaler

Use AI enhancement when you want to enlarge an image and recover perceived detail. This resizer uses standard interpolation, not AI super-resolution.

AI Background Remover

Remove an existing product background before resizing when you need a clean cutout. Pad adds a canvas background; it does not isolate the subject.

Questions about bulk image resizing

Is the bulk image resizer free, and are my images uploaded?

Yes. The tool is free and requires no registration. Your image files are decoded, resized, converted and packaged locally in your browser, without uploading them to Zolkit.

How do I resize a 2000 × 2000 image to 1500 × 1500?

Select the 1500 × 1500 product square preset, or enter 1500 for both width and height. For a square 2000 × 2000 original, 75% also produces 1500 × 1500. For mixed aspect ratios, use Pad to keep the full image on an exact square canvas.

Will PNG or WebP transparency be preserved?

Fit and Crop preserve alpha when exporting PNG or WebP. Pad composites the image onto your chosen background, including transparent source areas. JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas use the background color.

Will resizing always reduce the file size?

No. Pixel dimensions, output format, image content and lossy quality all affect file size. JPG and WebP have quality controls; PNG does not use that lossy quality setting. Use Image Compressor when reducing file size is the main goal.

How many images and how large a batch can I process?

Limits: 200 images, 50 MB per file, 80 MP input; output up to 8192 px per side, 16 MP per image and 256 MB per batch.

Is enlarging an image here the same as AI upscaling?

No. Enlargement here uses ordinary image interpolation and cannot restore missing detail with AI. Use AI Image Upscaler when detail enhancement is your goal.

What happens to filenames when I download a ZIP?

Filename stems are kept when possible, extensions follow the output format, and duplicate names receive numbered suffixes. The ZIP includes successfully processed images only.

Are image orientation, metadata and animation preserved?

Browser decoding respects image orientation. Output is a newly encoded still image: original EXIF and other metadata are not retained, and animated inputs are flattened rather than preserved as animations.

What should I do if one image fails?

Other images can continue processing. Check the failed item, try smaller dimensions or another output format, and run the batch again. Browser memory and encoding support can affect large images.
